Platform Issue: Resource depletion and excessive waste production are happening everyday, and will only get worse if we as a community do not do something about it. Small lifestyle choices we make can accumulate to a big difference. Of all the energy we use, 50% of it is wasted as it’s not for a productive purpose. Whether its leaving unused products plugged running water in your toothbrush, we need to be active and aware of our energy consumption and spread the message. I started Teens Go Green when I was 12 years old because I wanted to do something about it. My organization has flourished as an environmental network as I’ve been able to work with Disney Friends for Change and Children and Nature Network.

If you could live anywhere in the world, where would it be?: I’ve been very content living in Orlando and going to school in Miami. But I love Hong Kong, where my mom’s family is fun. It is so advanced and technology and innovative.

If you could meet anyone in the world, who would they be?: If it’s “dead or alive,” I would love to meet Benjamin Franklin. It takes a lot of talent and intelligence for someone to be a historic figure and collect electricity to make our world what it is today.
Best advice you have ever been given: You cannot worry about the things you can’t control, so be the best you that you can be!

Who is your role model and why?: My mother is an incredible women. She runs a business, manufacturing company, and more all while taking care of four kids. I remember at one point we were at an age where my mom would make breakfast and packed lunch for high school, middle school, elementary school, and preschool. Her unconditional love is the most beautiful gift.

Something interesting about you: I can hula-hoop for four hours, but I’m terrible at sports! I can’t run, throw, or catch a ball.

Three words that describe you best: Caring, Youthful, and Happy

Current Read: Pride and Prejudice. It’s what set the bar for all romantic comedies!

Favorite TV Show: Pretty Little Liars

Favorite Food: My favorite food is celery, but my favorite type of food is Vietnamese!

Favorite Sport: As I mentioned earlier, I’m terrible at sports! I love Zumba, but that’s more exercise. My favorite sport to watch is swimming.
